Twitter Account is Back!

After Twitter had deleted my @BrandonBlogs Twitter account, I now have it back.

High Fees on SponsoredTweets!

SponsoredTweets is a site that allows advertisers to pay you to send out a Tweet through your account. You need at least 100 followers to join, but probably will not get any sponsors until you exceed the 1000 mark. (Post coming soon on how to make money from SponsoredTweets with ease!)

I noticed today that for an advertiser to send a tweet on somebodies account, they are paying double. If a Tweeter is charging $5 per tweet, the advertiser is paying $10. That seems like quite a steep fee, the site profits the same amount at each tweet!

I am getting closer and closer to making my own Twitter advertising platform with VERY low fees and unique features…If only I had time!

Re-Revtwter -> Development Started!

I just want to say that development of the Re-Revtwter has started! Check out the previous post for more information on that. There are new features I thought of and plan on adding in, as well as alternative revenue sources. I am trying to make this truly a set it and forget it advertising platform.

I also have another thing I plan on developing after this. It will not make you money directly, but it will drastically help out your site.

Also note, I develop all my sites and tools 100% myself. I do not hire anybody to do so. This ensures quality and that they are optimized as best as possible!

2010 Vancouver Olympics Intro

I just caught the intro to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and my first thought was “No wonder other countries think Canadians are all Indians and Eskimos that live in igloos!”

It consisted of many dancers dressed up as First Nations people, I wonder what those in other countries thought when watching this!

Once I can find a video of it, I will post it up here!

Thinking Back…

When I think back I realized a few things. I started programming in grade 7, so about 6 years ago or so. My expertise in programming eventually lead me to web development and making money on the internet, and eventually this blog.

If it was not for my older brother getting me into programming all those years ago, where would I be now? Would I be working long hours on a normal boring job like almost everyone else my age? Maybe. Who knows where I would be right now. I am just glad I started programming when I did.
