Twitter Application Suspension Notice

Written by Brandon on February 18th, 2010 | 2 Comments

So today I was working on adding Twitter accounts to your ReRevtwter account using oAuth. I created the application under the account of my Bncapps Twitter account. I got it all working so accounts could easily be added. A few hours later, I receive two automated emails from the Twitter team entitled “Application Suspension Notice.”

Turns out, they suspended both the newly added application, as well as the one that has been running for a number of months without a problem. There is no reason given. I sent out an email and I am hoping they will reply soon, ill keep you all posted on the reply.

Tip: Engage in Discussion

Written by Brandon on February 17th, 2010 | 0 Comments

If you run a blog, it is important to interact with the readers. The reason for this is because it creates interesting discussion and shows that you are open to new ideas. The commentors will keep returning to see if there are any replies and to continue the discussion.

With your blog posts, don’t just end, always try to ask something that will make the readers want to answer. For example, if you cover a specific topic, ask for the readers opinion!

So here is my question to you: Do you want to see short, somewhat useful tips such as this one posted every so often?

High Fees on SponsoredTweets!

Written by Brandon on February 15th, 2010 | 3 Comments

SponsoredTweets is a site that allows advertisers to pay you to send out a Tweet through your account. You need at least 100 followers to join, but probably will not get any sponsors until you exceed the 1000 mark. (Post coming soon on how to make money from SponsoredTweets with ease!)

I noticed today that for an advertiser to send a tweet on somebodies account, they are paying double. If a Tweeter is charging $5 per tweet, the advertiser is paying $10. That seems like quite a steep fee, the site profits the same amount at each tweet!

I am getting closer and closer to making my own Twitter advertising platform with VERY low fees and unique features…If only I had time!

Re-Revtwter -> Development Started!

Written by Brandon on February 15th, 2010 | 0 Comments

Make Money With Twitter

I just want to say that development of the Re-Revtwter has started! Check out the previous post for more information on that. There are new features I thought of and plan on adding in, as well as alternative revenue sources. I am trying to make this truly a set it and forget it advertising platform.

I also have another thing I plan on developing after this. It will not make you money directly, but it will drastically help out your site.

Also note, I develop all my sites and tools 100% myself. I do not hire anybody to do so. This ensures quality and that they are optimized as best as possible!
More details will be up as I have them!
