High Fees on SponsoredTweets!
Written by Brandon on February 15th, 2010 | 3 CommentsSponsoredTweets is a site that allows advertisers to pay you to send out a Tweet through your account. You need at least 100 followers to join, but probably will not get any sponsors until you exceed the 1000 mark. (Post coming soon on how to make money from SponsoredTweets with ease!)
I noticed today that for an advertiser to send a tweet on somebodies account, they are paying double. If a Tweeter is charging $5 per tweet, the advertiser is paying $10. That seems like quite a steep fee, the site profits the same amount at each tweet!
I am getting closer and closer to making my own Twitter advertising platform with VERY low fees and unique features…If only I had time!
Make Money With Twitter
Written by Brandon on February 11th, 2010 | 12 Comments
Time for the first tutorial on how I make some of my money online. This method is related to Twitter.
You are going to need a few Twitter accounts, the more the better. The max we can use for this is 10. It will still work with just one or two, but 10 is suggested to maximize the results.
Now, I suggest not making the accounts look like bots, for one less people will follow back, and secondly you don’t want them to be banned. Add a profile image and change the background image on each account. When I did mine, I just put pictures of pets that I got off Google Images.
Now, follow my guide on Building Up Your Twitter Followers to gain followers for each of the Twitter accounts. If you can get each Twitter account to exceed 1000 followers, then you can use even more for this method.
Log in to your RevTwt account, and click ![]()
Now you need to add in your Twitter account. Remember, the account must have atleast 50 followers, but if you follow “The Faster Way” on my guide, then 50+ should not be a problem.

You can provide your login details to RevTwt by entering the username and password directlry, or using oAuth. I suggest using oAuth, as this way they do not have access to your password and if your password changes, you don’t need to update everything on the site.
After you added the account, go to Setup. If you know your followers are a certain niche, try and check off those ones, otherwise choose all. Be sure to also check off Auto Posting so you don’t need to waste your time posting them!
If all 10 accounts have more than 1000 followers, you are eligible to add even more.
Soon I will release my own tool that allows you to make even more money through Revtwt all automated. It will require web hosting, but I will probably also have a hosted one on my server for public access.
Backupify – Secure your online life – Free offer extended!
Written by Brandon on February 4th, 2010 | 0 CommentsHow often do you backup your emails? How about your blog posts? Your Twitter and Facebook account?
If you answered never, or almost never then what happens if something was to happen? What if your Flickr account gets deleted, GMail suffers a mass deletion, or Facebook gets hacked?
Suffering a huge data loss is not fun..but neither is manually backing everything up!

Thankfully, Backupify makes this all automated. And the best part? All accounts made before February 15th are free forever!. I think there will be a monthly fee or something, but get in early to avoid it!
Even if you do not plan on using the account now, why not just make it anyways incase down the road you will?
I have it setup for my email, Twitter and Wordpress database
It supports many services, give it a try and leave a comment about how you like it. If you have used any other backup service, let me know!
Building Twitter Followers
Written by Brandon on February 2nd, 2010 | 2 CommentsTwitter is one of the fast growing Web 2.0 social sites. With the up to the second news updates, it is one of the best ways to learn about news as it happens.
A Twitter follower is somebody who has opted to watch your Tweets to see what you are saying. It is like building up a mailing list with a tool such as Aweber. Build up enough followers related to your niche and it could bring in a huge amount of leads. Twitter marketing is huge now a days, but lots of people do not know how to build up their followers!

How It All Started – Part 2
Written by Brandon on February 1st, 2010 | 3 CommentsThis is a continuation of part 1…
Before I continue, I just want it to be known that I will not write about and list every website I own, for obvious reasons. Although there are some I do not list, the methods used in them will be discussed in future posts.
Back in the summer of 2008, me and my brother decided to start up our own link shortening service. At this time I was entering grade 12. I had big dreams with this, create a link shortening service, make a framed bar on top and toss in some ads. Then spread the site around and start making thousands of dollars. Yeah, I was inexperienced at the time and was not fully sure how all this worked. At this time I didn’t even have any coding experience, we bought the script! That site is still up and can be found here: http://link-shrink.com. The site gets 100+ unique hits a day, where some days it exceeds 1000. It makes enough a month to keep the domain going as well as cover some hosting.
